Katherine joined the Christian Embassy of Canada in August 2026 as Mission Assistant, seeking to further the mission of the Christian Embassy through administrative, event and communications support and leadership.
The Christian Embassy seeks to inspire political, diplomatic and business leaders with the person and values of Jesus, while connecting them with other leaders. We desire to help resource leaders and encourage them as they advance their mandates. Worldwide, the Christian Embassy of Canada is a part of a global network of more than fifteen Christian Embassies on four continents.
Previously, Katherine received a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Recreation and Leisure Studies with a double minor in Psychology and Religious Studies from the University of Waterloo. She participated in the university’s world-famous co-operative education program throughout her studies which allowed her to gain a breadth of experience in administration, program management, event planning, communication and spiritual care.
After graduating, Katherine desired to utilize her skills and experiences to invest in the leadership and spiritual development of her peers and the next generation. Throughout her five years with Power to Change’s university student division she worked at the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, and Conestoga College, facilitating many large-scale local and national projects and events. Two of these initiatives brought her and students to Ottawa to learn about and work alongside non-profits in the city.
She currently lives in Ottawa and is enjoying exploring all it has to offer as a new city and home.
