Darlene McLean, Executive Director

Darlene is the Executive Director of the Christian Embassy of Canada, a position she has fulfilled since May 2012. Previously, she served for 6 years as the Deputy Director. Over the years she has had the privilege of leading and participating in business tours to different regions of Canada and multiple international delegations to Africa, Asia and Europe. In December 2012 Darlene was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for her work with the Christian Embassy for the benefit of diplomats and government leaders.

Robert Montgomery

Robert Montgomery, International Representative Emeritus

Robert joined the Christian Embassy in 1999 as a part-time associate to the Executive Director, then from 2003 to 2006 served as Deputy Director. From 2006 to 2023 he has served as International Representative of the Christian Embassy and as coordinator of the English as a Second Language program.

Stephanie Dyck

Stephanie Kiouangou, International Representative

Stephanie Kiouangou joined the Christian Embassy team in 2013 as an International Representative. She has worked with university student-athletes in Canada through Athletes in Action, facilitating their development as holistic athletes–physically, mentally and spiritually. She coached basketball and has organized team tours throughout North America and around the world. Stephanie graduated from the Arrow Leadership program and is fluent in English, French and German.

Darlene Rowlandson, Executive Assistant

Darlene Rowlandson joined the Christian Embassy team in 2017 as the Assistant to the Executive Director. Her background in International Studies, Intercultural Religious Studies, Office Administration and event planning, along with vast experience travelling, has enabled her to invest in youth around the world, as well as in her own three children. Her heart is to inspire the next generation and, together with her husband James, to help foster an environment of hope and encouragement.
