Darlene Rowlandson joined the Christian Embassy team in 2017 as the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director.
She graduated from Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in International Studies, focusing on development and cultural change with a minor in Intercultural Religious Studies. She also has a certificate in Office Administration from Fleming College and is a recipient of the Mel Smith Scholarship.
She previously worked in youth ministry at her home church in Lindsay, Ontario. She organized city wide youth events every month with other local youth groups and inspired youth to grow in their personal relationships with Christ Jesus.
She participated in Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and completed her Discipleship Training School program in 2007 from Holmsted Manor in England. During her program she toured Europe, ministering to people on the streets, in hostels and on trains.
Darlene spent a year at the Honor Academy in Texas learning about Christian leadership and digging deeper in her relationship with Christ. She learned about event planning and helped facilitate the Acquire the Fire youth events.
Darlene is married to James and they have three beautiful children.
