
Darlene Rowlandson joined the Christian Embassy team in 2017 as the Assistant to the Executive Director.
The Christian Embassy seeks to inspire political, diplomatic and business leaders with the person and values of Jesus, while connecting them with other leaders. We desire to help resource leaders and encourage them as they advance their mandates. Worldwide, the Christian Embassy of Canada is a part of a global network of more than fifteen Christian Embassies on four continents.
Darlene graduated from Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in International Studies, focusing on development and cultural change with a minor in Intercultural Religious Studies. She also has a certificate in Office Administration from Fleming College and is a recipient of the Mel Smith Scholarship.
She previously worked with the youth in her home town of Lindsay, Ontario. She organized city wide youth events every month with other local youth groups helping to foster an environment of hope and encouragement.
She participated in Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and completed her Discipleship Training School program in 2007 from Holmsted Manor in England.
Darlene spent a year at the Honor Academy in Texas learning about leadership and helping organize large youth rallies all over North America. She learned about event planning and how to inspire the next generation.
Darlene is married to James and they have three beautiful children.
