Hope has a Name – 58th National Prayer Breakfast

The National Prayer Breakfast was founded in 1964 as the first national prayer breakfast in the world. The annual event is held under the auspices of the Speakers of the Senate and the House of Commons on behalf of the Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast Group. This allows our elected officials to gather together with men and women from different backgrounds to pray and connect through our shared faith. This year’s theme is Hope has a Name.
The gathering is Christ-centered and unites leaders in our nation’s capital in order to pray together for national leaders, our brave men and women in uniform and our fellow Canadians. Its purpose is to come together collectively to honour and continue to hold to our Christian heritage.
