O Holy Night (English, French and Arabic) by Joseph, Peter and Jad Haddad

The Haddad brothers performed this rendition of O Holy Night in three languages as a part of our 41st Christmas Celebration.

O Holy night! The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
‘Til He appeared and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees; O hear the Angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born
O night, O Holy night, O night divine!

Minuit !

Truly He taught us to love one another.
His law is love and His Gospel is Peace
Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother
And in His name, all oppression shall cease
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we
Let all within us Praise His Holy name
Christ is the Lord; O praise His name forever!
His power and glory evermore proclaim
His power and glory evermore proclaim

Hark The Herald Angels Sing – Joseph, Peter and Jad Haddad

Joseph, Peter and Jad Haddad are the sons of Sami Haddad, a Lebanese ambassador who served as Chargé d’affaires to Canada from 2012 to 2018. During their father’s posting, the Haddad brothers moved to Canada with their parents and embraced the opportunity to experience new cultures and build their futures. After their father’s departure for his next assignment in Africa, the brothers chose to stay in Canada to complete their studies. Today, they all proudly contribute to the federal government in various positions.

The Haddad family is deeply rooted in their Lebanese heritage and united by a shared love of music. They grew up performing together, playing music for their church, family gatherings and community events throughout the year, especially during holidays like Christmas and Easter. Their musical bond continues to be a source of joy and connection in their lives.
