
Robert joined the Christian Embassy in 1999 as a part-time associate to the Executive Director, then from 2003 to 2006 served as Deputy Director. From 2006 to 2023 he has served as International Representative of the Christian Embassy and coordinator of the English as a Second Language program.
From 1996 to 2003 Robert directed Vie de famille, the French division of FamilyLife Canada, recruiting speakers for, organizing and speaking at marriage enhancement conferences. Prior to that from 1976 to 1996 he worked in the university student division of Power to Change Ministries.
Robert earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Cornell University. He did post graduate studies with the International School of Theology and has made a life-long habit of studying the Bible. He is an avid cyclist. He and his wife Anne-Marie have three adult daughters and two grandchildren.
